Our Review

We'll be honest — we didn't see Windsurf coming. When another AI coding assistant launched in November 2024, we figured it was just another player in an increasingly crowded space. Boy, were we wrong.

Within two days of launch, Windsurf Editor had 10,000 signups. Within weeks, that number hit the hundreds of thousands. That's not just good marketing — that's a product hitting a nerve.

What Makes This Different

Most AI coding tools feel like glorified autocomplete with a chatbot bolted on. Windsurf built something genuinely different: the first AI agent-powered IDE that actually keeps you in flow instead of constantly breaking your concentration.
