Our lab sits at the intersection of world models, video generation, and robotics, building systems that represent complex environments, reason about objects and dynamics, and translate high-level AI intentions into smooth, efficient, safe, and responsive actions across a variety of robotic embodiments.
What You’ll Do:
Lead the design and execution of our AI’s robotics research agenda
Recruit, mentor, and manage a small team of research scientists and engineers in our London lab
Collaborate with the world model and simulation teams to develop state-of-the-art training platforms for robotics
Guide the creation of persistent 3D/4D scene representations and advanced embodied AI methodologies
Drive research efforts in scene understanding, sim-to-real transfer, and advanced planning
Foster partnerships with leading ML researchers, hardware specialists, and external collaborators
Help establish the lab's technical culture and external reputation
Areas of Interest:
We are especially interested in candidates excited to work on:
World models for embodied systems
3D/4D generative models
Scene reconstruction and understanding
Embodied AI
Object-level and semantic SLAM
Multimodal AI
What We’re Looking For:
Strong background in robotics, computer vision, or related areas
Experience leading or managing small technical or research teams
Hands-on expertise with 3D perception, scene representations, world models, or simulation
Excellent programming skills (Python, C++, or similar)
Entrepreneurial spirit and excitement about building in a startup or early-stage lab environment
Ability to work effectively across machine learning, perception, and robotics disciplines
Outstanding communication and team-building skills
